Thanks for the new trick. It is working well so far.

Subject: Re: [idvusers] Missing Time-Steps in directory mode
Hi Jacob,
There may be a problem here with multiple time coordinate axes (e.g., time,
time1, time2) which may present us with hurdles when trying to do the
aggregation. Unfortunately, I don't think this is a totally solved problem on
our end. But let's proceed anyway.
In the IDV Dashboard, please go to the Data Choosers tab. Select all files and
select a Data Source Type of "Aggregate Grids By Time". Add the Data Source and
display a field in the usual manner. If you are lucky, you should be able to
play your animations.
In order to see all the time steps, I also occasionally found myself having to
reload the data in the Field Selector tab by right clicking on the Data Source
and choosing Reload Data. This is perhaps an artifact of the aggregation
problems I was describing earlier. I could then view movies of various data
fields.
Give that a shot.

Hi Jacob,
Could we see a few sample data files either uploaded to dropbox or uploaded
here?

Thanks
