Re: LDM -> Database (mysql)???

Mike, et al,

while I am a huge mysql proponent for many reasons it would strike me as
time better spent to try to write this in a way that it has an abstract
database layer where the interface is not limited to mysql. 
This way if people would rather use Oracle/Informix/... they could still
make use of the facility. 

(of course this also produces more work in writing it)
