Re: NNEXRAD Latencies?

Eric,

I'm feeding from snow.cit.cornell.edu which feeds from ingestor
sunshine.ssec.wisc.edu.  The greatest max latency for NNEXRAD over the
last 24 hours was 52 seconds.  (Although, the fact that I'm only
requesting 1 station may have something to do with it.)  So it looks like
the problem may lie with the wundergound.com host.  Based on past
experience, I don't think their network bandwith is all that it could be.
Either that, or path to wunderground is really congested.
