Here's the deal...
I will monitor this weekend. If it dies one more time, I'm saying the heck
with this and going back to 5.1.4. I can do that in 15 minutes time.
Naturally, it seems to want to die at 2 or 4 in the morning, without
warning and for no reason at all, so hang in there.
