we are now back online, looked like a stupid cable between the external
RAID and the computer was out so an entire channel disappeared, not just 1
drive. *making note on new servers that are being ordered to hve internal
hot swap drives*, but what can u argue about a free raid cage. so
weather.cod.edu is back online and catching up. *also grumbling about
getting home just as it goes down and have to turn around after eating
some lunch/dinner to make a 1 hour drive back*

Our primary upstream site is having technical difficulties
(weather.cod.edu). Unfortunately, I was out of town and didn't get a
chance to see that there was a problem until I got back around 03:30 Z
this evening. The problem apparently started just after 1Z this evening.
Sorry for the inconvenience to my upstream sites. I am now feeding from
UIUC.
