Hi Tom, all,
Thanks for the response -- I realize I probably should have attached the
ldmd.conf files for both machines. (*truncated to the relevant stuff...)
Twister (ldmd.conf):
# Giving permission to your own machine and Unidata
allow ANY
^((localhost|loopback)|(127\.0\.0\.1\.?$)|([a-z].*\.unidata\.ucar\.edu\.?$))
allow ANY-NLDN weather.bgsu.edu
allow ANY polarmet12.mps.ohio-state.edu
allow ANY 128.146.194.17
#128.146.194.17 is twister2
Twister 2 (ldmd.conf):
REQUEST IDS|DDPLUS ".*" twister.sbs.ohio-state.edu
-=-=-==-
ALLOW ANY ^((localhost|loopback)|(127\.0\.0\.1\.?$))
ALLOW ANY twister.sbs.ohio-state.edu
For what it's worth the error in Twister's log doesn't occur until I either
restart or stop the LDM on Twister 2 -- not when I start it as I erroneously
stated below.
