[ldm-users] The new NOAAport is commisioned, and is ready to go!

Hey everyone,

After extensive testing and fixing issues this past weekend,
a final test was performed on the new NOAAport this morning,
and it worked fine. I am now getting zero packet loss, even
when they were testing by slamming 70 mb/sec of sustained
throughput in the pipeline. That was just darn impressive.

Anyway, as of 17Z today, the fun has begun. Several people went
through the hard work this weekend, along with myself, to help NOAA make sure all was well. Now it's your turn! The NWS began
switching their Novra receivers to the new broadcast as of
17Z today; see below. You have 27 days to switch over before
you lose your NOAAport feed...unless you want the HRRR which
will be sent on, and only on, the new NOAAport feed, as of 12Z
on the 23rd. Then you obviously only have 21 days to test
and switch over. Also, as a side note, the NOAA Weather Wire Service,
broadcast as a "subchannel", if you will, to NOAAport...is also
up and running. The Novra and LDM version 6.12.4 handle it
flawlessly.

Have fun! Note the ISI and modulation coding changes that were made
this past weekend based on test results. See below.
