Hello,
I purposely waited a week or so to upgrade to ldm-6.12.6 thinking that
updated versions of g2varsncep.tbl and g2varswmo.tbl files would be
included as part of an updated ldm package. However, I'm still seeing
errors similar to what were originally reported:
Sep 24 13:14:19 noaaport0 noaaportIngester[12366] ERROR: [gb2param.c:89]
[GB -1] Couldn't get parameter info: disc=0, cat=19, id=233, pdtn=0
Sep 24 13:14:19 noaaport0 noaaportIngester[12366] ERROR: [gb22gem.c:74]
[GB 1] Couldn't get parameter values
Is there a definitive source for updated versions of g2varsncep.tbl and
g2varswmo.tbl that should be used with ldm? I checked
https://github.com/Unidata/LDM/tree/master/gempak/tables but these
appear to be 2 years out of date. This would be much more convenient
than editing the file by hand and cause less confusion for future users.
The g2varsncep1.tbl available from
http://www.modelweather.com/help/noaaport/g2varsncep1.tbl is
significantly different from g2varsncep.tbl that came with ldm-6.12.6.
Note that for noaaport installations, g2varsncep1.tbl is symbolically
linked to g2varsncep.tbl in the etc directory.
