The 8515 has a lot less stability for locking on to weaker frequencies. It can
drift as much as 500 kHz either side of the channel you want to receive. That
is why it is unacceptable to NOAA for use.
They require a 20 kHZ drift or less. With an underpowered signal that NOAAport
has, it can make all the difference.
