I would agree. Here at the College of DuPage, our level 3 feed has been
absolutely spot on. Hopefully the attached JPG will get through, but if you
don’t desire to click on it, I understand; it shows less than 1 second delays,
except when I rebooted the server for a kernel security update this morning,
which took about 3 minutes.

There haven't been any major issues with the NOAAPORT feed for NEXRAD Level 3.
The regularity of your issues certainly suggests network congestion. 8 PM EST
is conveniently 00 UTC.

Good morning,

I am emailing to inquire about some recent, systematic outages we have seen
with our level 3 ingestion.
For the past week we have been seeing our feed drop on both servers, around 8PM
EST, and then eventually restore after nearly 3 hours. We see no other impact
to regular network traffic that can be correlated with this issue.

Is anyone else experiencing this? We have migrated one server to the latest LDM
release on an entirely new VM using the Unidata Docker image and that machine
is still experiencing the same regular outage. We are continuing to investigate
if this is possibly an upstream network path/saturation issue but wanted to see
if anyone else has seen similar behavior as of late.

Any help or insight is appreciated.
