[netcdf-java] Grib2 multivalued parameter?

Hi,
I know the question its not specifically about the grib java
decoder,although it is Grib related, but couldnt find any other place to ask
for help...

Is it possible for a given grib2 parameter to have more than 1 value.

For example have a parameter called: swells period. And in layer 1 the value
of period of swell 1, and in the following layer the value of period of
swell2.
