NetCDF-Java gurus,
I just grabbed some FRMC data from Steve Cousin's THREDDS Server,
making the same model comparison plots that I always make, and the
data plotted off the scale with temperatures of -1000 degrees. It
appears that his data, packed as shorts in the original netcdf file,
are getting converted and delivered via OpeNDAP as floats, but the
values actually are not having the scale_factor and add_offset
applied, so are delivered as floats, but with the short values. Hence
the crazy temperatures.

I have no idea at which version of TDS this problem popped up.
Steve is using TDS version: 4.1.20090930.1852
