[netcdf-java] NetCDF-java Thredds Catalog API

Dear All,
I would like to know about the user documentation/tutorial for the THREDDS catalog API in the netCDF java library. I have checked the link: 
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf-java/
It says: The catalog API will be redone, however the current API will remain supported.
