Hi,
For a part of your task, you might want to take a look at ncWMS (
http://www.resc.rdg.ac.uk/trac/ncWMS/ ) (also perhaps
http://centaur.reading.ac.uk/19928/ - written by the creator of ncWMS). It uses
the GridDatatype (amongst other things) from the netcdf-java library and can
re-grid between a lot of map projections.

Hi there,
is there some existing Java libraries that allow the decimation and/or
resampling (e.g., using different interpolation types) of matrices.
I.e. with a daily sampled time series, create monthly average. Or
"re-grid" a spatial latitude/longitude grid?
Thanks, .h.h.
