Dennis,
the GeoTools and GeoServer projects make direct use NetCDF-Java for all
NetCDF access. GeoTools and GeoServer are projects of the Open Source
Geospatial Foundation (OSGeo).
GeoTools and GeoServer provide access to gridded multidimensional data
in NetCDF as spatially located coverages for delivery via OGC WMS and WCS.
- GeoTools modules are gt-netcdf and gt-grib.
- GeoServer modules are gs-netcdf, gs-grib, and gs-netcdf-out for the
GeoServer netcdf, netcdf-out, and grib plugins respectively. Most access
is via the GeoTools gt-netcdf module.
- The module maintainers are Simone Giannecchini and Daniele Romagnoli
of GeoSolutions <http://www.geo-solutions.it/>.
- I am a member of the project steering committees and a contributor to
these modules and NetCDF-Java.
Kind regards,
Ben.

I am trying to see who is directly using the Unidata
netcdf-java library? This is the client-side library
and typical use would be using the CDM API. e.g.
NetcdfFile.java
Variable.java
VariableIF.java
etc
and the Array API e.g.
Array.java
ArrayDouble.java
ArrayStructure.java
StructureData.java
etc.
If you are programming at this level, could you send me an
email (below) indicating who you are at either the individual or
organizational level?
Note: users of ToolsUI only need not respond since that would be
an indirect use of the library.
