As currently distributed, the netCDF Perl license is not OSI compatiblebecause of the following clause:


  Further, the user agrees to credit
  UCAR/Unidata in any publications that result from the use of this
  software or in any product that includes this software.

This is a restriction on use and is unacceptable in a truly freedistribution like Fedora. The NetCDF license had a similar clause andwas changed to:


   Further, UCAR requests that the user credit
  UCAR/Unidata in any publications that result from the use of this
  software or in any product that includes this software, although this
  is not an obligation.

Please consider changing the netCDF Perl license in a similar manner sothat it can be packaged as part of Fedora.
