- Vicki Halliwell suggests a UseNet Newsgroup - I agree with that - I know
I would like to see the netCDF mail reflector monitored to contain only
approved announcements of general interest. I suggest the Newsgroup should
be christened something titillating like _self describing data sets_,
rather than restricting ourselves to netCDF. That shouldn't threaten any
rice bowls in this community, as most of us feel netCDF will compete very
well with any _other_ self describing data set paradigms, else we wouldn't
be here. - Mike
