Hi,
I have just installed the netCDF library 3.1a on a Linux PC (version 2.0)
and on a Alpha (OSF1 V3.2, ALSO NOT IN THE LIST OF SUPPORTED PLATFORMS).
And it works just fine. I played arround with the new functions, and I
think that they are a big improvement (THANKS). I haven't tested if it is
faster.
On the Dec Alpha I had to use gcc (version 2.7.2.1), because the cc
compiler complained about a floating-point domain error...
Best regards,
Richard
PS. are there any plans to support building a (optional) shared
netCDF-library? With gcc it is straight forward (atleast on a Linux, IRIX
