Due to the current gap in continued funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), the NSF Unidata Program Center has temporarily paused most operations. See NSF Unidata Pause in Most Operations for details.
I think you could use the NCO operators to do that:1. use ncecat on the file to create a new record dimension called 'record' 2. use ncwa to remove (average) the newly created dimension called 'record'. This leaves a file without a record dim.
Not sure if this is the most efficient way, but it works. Chris On 28-Nov-07, at 4:33 PM, Joe Sirott wrote:
Does anyone know of a utility that will convert a large netCDF file that has a record dimension to a file that contains no record dimension at all?--Joe _______________________________________________ netcdfgroup mailing list netcdfgroup@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx For list information or to unsubscribe, visit: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/mailing_lists/
