Dear NetCDF/OpenDAP/NcML/THREDDS enthusiasts:
Many of you know that the ToolsUI GUI (the NetCDF 4.0 Tools App) is a
very useful tool for debugging, quick browsing and mapping of data
from NetCDF, NcML, OpenDAP URLs and more.
If you haven't seen it, it's available on this page:
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf-java/
Get the version 4 toolsUI, which you can start via the command line or
as a Java webstart application.
For those of you who have wondered about what all those tabs do in the
ToolsUI GUI, I had a web-enabled conversation with John Caron and we
captured a WebEx
recording of John giving a demo of the features he uses most often.
The demo is about 40 minutes, and can be viewed with the WebEx
Recorder on Mac & Windows.
WebEx recording:

WebEx Player (free download):

I learned a lot from the demo. -- thanks John!
