Howdy all!

We are pleased to announce the release of netcdf-4.1.2-rc1, a release
candidate for the 4.1.2 release.

ftp://ftp.unidata.ucar.edu:/pub/netcdf/netcdf-4.1.2-rc1.tar.gz

The 4.1.2 release contains bug fixes and performance enhancements. It
requires the newly-released hdf5-1.8.6 and also zlib-1.2.5. If no major
problems are found in this release candidate we hope to release 4.1.2 by
the end of March.

Thanks to all the many users who have helped improve the netCDF code
base since the 4.1.1 release!
