[netcdfgroup] Problem installing netCDF on Mac

Dear all,


I'm a researcher from Spain and I want to install the MMTK. I need the
netCDF but when I try to install it I get an error. I run the configure
command like this:

./configure --prefix=/lib --disable-netcdf-4 --enable-shared

and I get this error:

checking if Fortran "byte" is C "signed char"... configure: error: Could not
link conftestf.o and conftest.o

I guess that's why I get this other error when running make check install:

make: *** No rule to make target `check'.  Stop.
