Dear all,
I happened the problem with netcdf-4.0 configure and compiling on Linux x_86_64
with intel fortran "ifort".
./configure FC=ifort F90=ifort F77=ifort CC=gcc CXX=g++
--prefix=/data11/cluo/CMAQv5.0.1/lib/tst/netcdf-4.0 --enable-separate-fortran
Above config was used, but the error messages in config.log file are:
conftest.F(3): error #6218: This statement is positioned incorrectly and/or has
syntax errors.
conftest.F(3): error #5082: Syntax error, found END-OF-STATEMENT when expecting
one of: ( % : . = =>
conftest.F(3): error #6218: This statement is positioned incorrectly and/or has
syntax errors.
conftest.c:12:28: error: ac_nonexistent.h: No such file or directory
conftest.c:12:28: error: ac_nonexistent.h: No such file or directory
conftest.cpp:23:28: error: ac_nonexistent.h: No such file or directory
conftest.cpp:23:28: error: ac_nonexistent.h: No such file or directory
conftest.c:70: error: expected expression before ')' token
| /* Override any GCC internal prototype to avoid an error.
configure:25475: checking for strerror
conftest.c:47: error: 'isfinite' undeclared (first use in this function)
conftest.c:47: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
conftest.c:47: error: for each function it appears in.)
Even errors occurred in config.log file, installation shows successful, but
libnetcdff90.a file was not created. I have no idea about this problem.
I am attaching the config.log. Very appreciate your comments and help!

This file contains any messages produced by compilers while
running configure, to aid debugging if configure makes a mistake.
It was created by netCDF configure 4.0, which was
generated by GNU Autoconf 2.62. Invocation command line was
