We are happy to announce the release of HDFql [1] 2.4.0!
This version includes:
- Added support for user-defined block of data stored within an HDF5
file in a space reserved for this purpose
- Added "LIKE" option in the "SHOW DIRECTORY" and "SHOW FILE" operations
- Added "BY NAME" option in all relevant HDFql operations (to get the
result of an operation as a name (i.e. string) instead of a number)
- Improved memory footprint to maintain an open HDF5 file (it now takes
~3 KB to maintain an open file - before it was taking ~30 KB)
(Please check the release notes [2] for further details and some
examples [3] that illustrate how HDFql works)
