SUBJECT:  UPPER AIR STATION MOVE FROM WSO HURON, SD
          TO WSFO ABERDEEN, SD

Effective November 17, 1994, at 1200 UTC, the upper air program at
Weather Service Office (WSO) Huron,SD (location identifier HON)
will begin moving to Weather Service Forecast Office (WSFO)
Aberdeen, SD (location identifier ABR).

The last upper-air observation from WSO HON will be taken at 1200
UTC on November 17, 1994.  The first upper-air observation from
WSFO ABR will be taken at 1200 UTC on November 18, 1994.  In
conjunction with this move, the product identifier (XXX) will
change from HON to ABR.  For AFOS users, the node (CCC) for these
products will remain FSD.  The block and station id will change
from 72654 to 72659, and the WBAN number will change from 14936 to
14929.
