Users of GOES GVAR data will see variable errors during periods of single chord operations as noted below. Single Chord Operations for the Bevel effect are listed when applicable. Bevel effect operation is intended to avoid a seasonal spacecraft pointing problem with all GOES spacecraft caused by the sun's light reflecting into the earth sensor.
