THESE PRODUCTS WILL BE ISSUED FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES... IN SOUTHWEST ALABAMA...MARENGO...CHOCTAW...CLARKE... WASHINGTON...MOBILE...BALDWIN...WILCOX...MONROE...BUTLER... CONECUH...ESCAMBIA...CRENSHAW AND COVINGTON IN EXTREME WESTERN FLORIDA...ESCAMBIA...SANTA ROSA AND OKALOOSA THE SERVICE TRANSFER IS CONSISTENT WITH THE OVERALL STRATEGIC PLAN OF THE NWS MODERNIZATION EFFORT AND WILL ENABLE THE MOBILE NWS OFFICE TO TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF ITS INCREASED TECHNOLOGICAL CAPABILITIES THEREBY PROVIDING AN ENHANCED LEVEL OF FIRE WEATHER SERVICE FOR SOUTHWEST ALABAMA AND EXTREME WESTERN FLORIDA.
