261 NOUS1 KRWA 081416 WMSC NOUS1 CIRNOT NR 010/01 PART ONE OF TWO PARTS ATTN WMSCR USERS THE FLWG IS THE ENGLISH PORTION OF A MESSAGE RECD FROM ENVIRONMENT CANADA CONCERNING CHANGES TO THE FDCN PRODUCTS: GENOT NO. 015 CHANGES TO FDCN BULLETINS ON MAY 30 2001 FDCN BULLETINS OF UPPER WIND FORECASTS ISSUED BY THE NWS (USA) AND MSC (CANADA) FOR POINTS IN CANADIAN AIRSPACE WILL BE MODIFIED AS DESCRIBED BELOW. THE MAIN CHANGE CONSISTS IN THE ADDITION OF SEVERAL NEW POINTS TO BETTER SERVICE TRANS-POLAR INTERNATIONAL AIR ROUTES. WE ALSO TOOK THIS OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE TWO ADDITIONAL IMPROVEMENTS: 1. WE UNIFORMIZED FDCN POINT COVERAGE BETWEEN US-PRODUCED HIGH-ALTITUDE FDCN, AND CANADIAN-PRODUCED LOW-LEVEL FDCN BULLETINS. 2. FOUR LOCATION IDENTIFIERS WHICH CONFLICTED WITH GROUND STATION IDENTIFIERS WERE REPLACED.
