A GOES-10 East-West Station Keeping maneuver will be performed on Tuesday, November 06, 2001 at 0656 UTC. For National Weather Service operations: The backup date, and last window of opportunity (final date) for this maneuver is Thursday, November 08, 2001. If the NWS regions have any operational concerns, please contact the NCEP SDM (301-763-8298) at least 6.5 hours prior to the maneuver time. On November 06, the following exclusive schedule will be employed to support maneuver operations: (*PLEASE NOTE the scheduled GOES-8 Full Disk scan period to support the primary GOES-10 outage during the maneuver.*) Maneuver Schedule starts at 0051 UTC on November 06, 2001. Southern Hemisphere scan at 0052 UTC is canceled.

Including: Abbreviated Full Disk Images (19 minute scan) at XX00 Northern Hemisphere Images at XX30 CONUS Soundings at XX01 1500 UTC -- GOES-10 Routine Scan Operations Resume Expect GOES-10 imager and sounder gridding offsets for up to six hours following the maneuver.
