All,

On October 30, 2001, the National Weather Service (NWS)
and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will
commission the FAA-sponsored ASOS at:

       Scottsdale Airport    (KSDL)
       Scottsdale, Arizona

Commissioning will take place at approximately 1800 UTC.

With the commissioning of this site, 881 (313 NWS-sponsored
and 568 FAA-sponsored) of the 882 base program ASOSs will
have been commissioned.
