For National Weather Service operations: The backup date for this maneuver is Thursday, December 18, 2003. If the NWS regions have any operational concerns, please contact the NCEP SDM (301-763-8298) at least 6.5 hours prior to the maneuver time. ~ On December 16, the following exclusive schedule will be employed to support maneuver operations: (*PLEASE NOTE the scheduled GOES-10 Full Disk scan period to support the primary GOES-12 outage during the maneuver.*) ~ GOES-12 Maneuver Schedule starts at 1105 UTC on December 16, 2003. ~ GOES-12 Southern Hemisphere scan at 1109 UTC is canceled ~
