A GOES-12 East/West Station Keeping maneuver will be performed on Tuesday, February 3, 2004 at 1711 UTC. For National Weather Service operations: the backup date for this maneuver is Thursday, February 5. If the NWS regions have any operational concerns, please contact the NCEP SDM (301-763-8298) at least 6.5 hours prior to the maneuver time. On February 3, the following exclusive schedule will be employed to support maneuver operations: (*PLEASE NOTE the scheduled GOES-10 Full Disk scan period to support the primary GOES-12 outage during the maneuver.*) GOES-12 Maneuver Schedule starts at 1034 UTC on February 3, 2004. GOES-12 Southern Hemisphere scan at 1039 UTC is canceled.
