Topic: GOES-12 and GOES-10 Lunar Shadow Cancellations April 27, 2006 Message Issued: April 24, 2006, 2030 UTC Satellites Impacted: GOES-12 and GOES-10 Products Impacted: GOES-12 and GOES-10 Imager Data Date/Time of Initial Impact: April 27, 2006 0845 UTC -------------------------- Details: GOES-10 & GOES-12 will both have a lunar shadow on April 27, 2006. Due to GOES-10 KOZ and the two lunar shadows there will be a period of no imaging at the same time on both coasts, as well as periods of Full Disk coverage.
