THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE /NWS/ IS PROPOSING TO MODIFY THE ISSUANCE SCHEDULE FOR THE NATIONAL HYDROLOGIC ASSESSMENT... WHICH IS PUBLISHED ON THE INTERNET AT /USE LOWER CASE LETTERS/: HTTP://WWW.NWS.NOAA.GOV/OH/HIC/NHOTHE NATIONAL HYDROLOGIC ASSESSMENT IS AN INTERNET PRODUCT ISSUED ON A BI-WEEKLY BASIS DURING LATE WINTER AND EARLY SPRING. IT PROVIDES A MAP OF AREAS AT RISK FOR FLOODING...PRIMARILY DUE TO SNOW MELT. ACCOMPANYING TEXT DESCRIBES FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO THE FLOOD RISK. THE ANALYSIS IS BASED ON INFORMATION AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET FROM NWS OFFICES AND OTHER FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES.
