To: Brian.Hughes@xxxxxxxx Topic: NESDIS Radar Feed Status Message Issued: July 17, 2007, 2030 UTC Satellites Impacted: n/a Products Impacted: Radar data hosted on NESDIS SSD Product Server and GIS Date/Time of Initial Impact: July 17, 2007 1700 UTC -------------------------- Details: NESDIS has stopped producing the 2 km Base Reflectivity product residing on the operational product server and the GeoTIFF radar located on the SSD GIS website ( http://www.gis.ssd.nesdis.noaa.gov/ ). Users who pull this data (McIDAS or GIS) will experience an outage. This will also affect the Hydro-Estimator version with Radar. NESDIS is working on re-acquiring the Radar product through NOAAPort. We do not know of the return to service (RTS) for this product at this time.
