BEGINNING JUNE 1 2008 AND CONTINUING THROUGH NOVEMBER 15 2008... NWS IS SEEKING USER FEEDBACK ON EXPERIMENTAL PROBABILISTIC STORM SURGE PRODUCTS ASSOCIATED WITH HURRICANES. THESE EXPERIMENTAL PRODUCTS WILL BE GENERATED BY THE NWS WHEN THE OFFICIAL NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER /NHC/ FORECAST CALLS FOR A HURRICANE TO MAKE LANDFALL WITHIN 24 HOURS ALONG THE ATLANTIC OR GULF COASTS OF THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES. THE PRODUCTS WILL BE POSTED ONLINE AT: /USE LOWER CASE LETTERS/:
HTTP://WWW.WEATHER.GOV/MDL/PSURGEA COMPREHENSIVE DESCRIPTION AND STATIC EXAMPLES OF THE EXPERIMENTAL PRODUCTS ARE POSTED AT SITE THE ABOVE. GRIB2 FILES WILL CONTINUE TO AVAILABLE AT THIS WEB SITE BY CLICKING ON THE DOWNLOAD TAB.
