The Beta Test of the TDWR SPG software Build 3.1 is scheduled to begin at the following sites and estimated dates (only TLVE is connected to the central collection at this time).
WFO TDWR SPG ID Planned Start Date Cleveland TLVE Completed (2/12/09) Phoenix TPHX 18 February Wichita TICH 24 February Nashville TBNA 25 FebruaryThe software primarily addresses security, configuration changes discovered during deployment, and fix a few “bugs.” We do not believe these changes will impact user software. 4. Beta Test of RIDGE Radar Version 2 Displays Revised Start Date. The start date of the RIDGE2 Beta Test has been moved to March 4, 2009. More information about the test and RIDGE 2 can be found in the NWS Service Change Notice (SCN) 09-03, Announcement of Comment Period for RIDGE Radar Version 2 Beta Displays Effective February 18, 2009. 5.
