The NWS has escalated the request for action to correct the apparent cause of the extended Eastern Region outage of WSR-88D Level II data to the leadership level of the communications company responsible for the service and maintenance of the link. The NWS Chief Information Officer has been personally involved in working to end this outage.
I'll send you additional information I receive it. I know that the TOC and ER HQ staff are working this problem to the up most.
