The NOAA National Weather Service MicroART upper air system Saint Paul, Alaska 
(WMO#
70308), was decommissioned on August 28, 2010, and installation of the new 
Radiosonde
Replacement System (RRS) will begin August 30.  No upper air observations will 
be provided
from this office while RRS is being installed.

Beginning September 6, 2010, or shortly thereafter, upper air observations will 
be issued
using the RRS and GPS Mark IIA Sippican radiosondes.
