In preparation, the NWS has created online documentation in a collaborative "wiki" venue for anyone wishing to review and participate in discussion regarding the CAP elements planned for production. This new venue is available to the national and international community and will be especially useful for developers and redistributors of NWS watches, warnings, advisories and special statements. The new wiki, hosted through the U.S. General Services Administrations Apps.gov NOW service, includes a documentation page and a collaborative discussion page for each CAP element NWS plans to produce. Visitors may register for a user account to take part in the collaborative discussion pages and be automatically notified whenever there are changes to these and the documentation pages.
