-------- Original Message -------- Hi All, A problem was found this morning in the GEMPAK output generated for the regional domains (Alaska, Western North Atlantic, Eastern North Pacific) for the Global Multi-grid Wave model that NCO has been running in parallel. We discovered missing data along the coasts. The grib2 files are fine. The problem exists in our GEMPAK job. I've asked that Monday's briefing to Dr. Uccellini be postponed and we will need to continue the parallel for an as-yet undetermined amount of time. Those of you who are participating in the evaluation of this upgrade do not need to redo your evaluations if you don't use the regional GEMPAK files. A decision will be made this coming Monday re: the length of time we will extend the parallel. As soon as I know this, new dates for the briefing and implementation will be set, and I'll get word out to you. Thanks for your patience. Chris
