NWS Forecast Offices in the western and central U.S. have been issuing experimental 7-day evapotranspiration forecasts on a seasonal basis. These forecasts will remain experimental through May 31, 2013. These forecasts graphically depict the expected evapotranspiration and departure from normal for each of the next 7 days. A 7-day total and departure is also provided. At the end of the comment period, this product will be evaluated for national implementation.
