Subject:  Change to Dissemination of Valdez Port, Narrows and Arm
          and Chiniak and Marmot Bays Coastal Waters Forecast
          Products Effective January 9, 2013

Effective Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at 4 PM Alaska Standard
Time (AKST), 8 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST), 0100 Thursday
January 10, 2013, Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), the NWS
Weather Forecast Office (WFO) in Anchorage, AK (AFC) will
stop issuing individual Coastal Waters Forecasts (CWF) for Valdez
Port, Narrows and Arm, and Chiniak and Marmot Bays. Instead,
these products will be included in the Coastal Waters Forecast
for the Northern Gulf of Alaska Coast Up to 100nm Out Including
Kodiak Island and Cook Inlet (see Tables 1 and 2 below). This
change is required to upgrade the Anchorage WFO weather
forecasting computer system.

Forecasts for Valdez Port, Narrows and Arm and Chiniak and Marmot
Bays, and the Northern Gulf of Alaska Up to 100nm out Including
Kodiak Island and Cook Inlet.
