Mendenhall MIC, WFO San Joaquin Valley Subject: Changes to the Regional Temperature and Precipitation (RTP) Product from Weather Forecast Office (WFO) San Joaquin Valley, Hanford, CA, Effective December 4, 2012 Effective December 4, 2012 at 1200 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), WFO San Joaquin Valley (HNX) will change the issuance times and content of its RTP product. The RTP will contain data from automated stations such as the Automated Surface Observing System, the Automated Weather Observing System, and manual stations such as the Cooperative Weather Observer Network, and will be issued three times daily. This adjustment will provide more robust data to local, regional, and national customers. The order of individual stations will be adjusted to better reflect data sources. The new RTP issuance times are listed below.
