SUBJECT:  Discontinuance of the Arkansas State Forecast Product
          (SFPAR) in Favor of Individual WFO Tabular State
          Forecast Products (SFTXXX) Effective January 3, 2013

Effective Thursday, January 3, 2013, at 600 AM Central Standard
Time (CST), 1200 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), the NWS
Weather Forecast Office (WFO) in Little Rock (LZK), AR, will stop
issuing the State Forecast Product (SFPAR) for the state of
Arkansas (Table 1).

The same type of information contained in the SFPAR is already
contained in the Arkansas Tabular State Forecast Products (SFT)
(high and low temperature, predominant weather and Probability of
Precipitation forecasts for 7 days) issued by WFOs in Arkansas,
Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Louisiana (Table 2).
