Network Station at Cape Arago Lighthouse near Coos Bay, Oregon in 2013The Coastal Marine Automated Network (C-MAN) observation station
at Cape Arago, Oregon, (CARO3) will be decommissioned in 2013. The station is at the Cape Arago Lighthouse at coordinates 43.342 North 124.375 West and is operated by the U.S. Coast Guard. In accordance with legislation signed in 2008, the Coast Guard will turn the lighthouse over to the confederated tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indians in 2013.The observation equipment must be removed to facilitate
