Subject: Corrected: New WMO Header and MND Header
Block for Yakutat Bay Coastal Waters Forecast
Product Effective Date Delayed until January 29,
2013
Corrected to change implementation time from 11 pm
Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) to 2300 Coordinated
Universal Time (UTC).
Due to unforeseen circumstances, this change, originally
planned for January 09, 2013 is delayed until Jan 29, 2013.
Effective Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at 2 pm Alaska
Standard Time (AKST), 6 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST), or
2300 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), the NWS Weather
Forecast Office (WFO) in Juneau, AK (AJK) will change the
WMO header for the Coastal Waters Forecast (CWF) for Yakutat
Bay (see Tables 1 and 2 below). This change is required to
upgrade the Juneau WFO weather forecasting computer system.
In addition, on January 29 at the same time, the Mass News
Disseminator (MND) header block will change to reflect WFO
Juneau as the issuing office for this product (see Tables 3
and 4 below).
