These changes are graphically shown at:http://www.erh.noaa.gov/akq/news/AKQMZ.html
and summarized below. These are graphic changes only. There are no changes to any zone names or Universal Geographic Codes (UGC). ANZ631 - Chesapeake Bay from Windmill Point to New Point Comfort, VA and ANZ635 - Rappahannock River from Urbanna to Windmill Point. A portion of ANZ631 will be broken off from Deltaville, VA westward and combined into Rappahannock River Zone ANZ635 (Marine zone immediately to its west). ANZ637 - James River from Jamestown to the James River Bridge. The Hampton River marine area was incorrectly added to ANZ637. It will be removed from marine zone ANZ637 and added to fire zone VAZ094-Newport News/Hampton and public zone VAZ094-Newport News/Hampton. ANZ638 - James River from James River Bridge to Hampton Roads Bridge - Tunnel. The southwest portion of Back River will be removed from marine zone ANZ638 and added to fire zone VAZ094- Newport News/Hampton and public zone VAZ094- Newport News/Hampton. ANZ632 - Chesapeake Bay from New Point Comfort to Little Creek VA. A very small fragment of this marine area (New Mill Creek) was incorrectly added to ANZ632 and will be added back to fire zone VAZ095-Norfolk/Portsmouth and public zone VAZ095- Norfolk/Portsmouth. ANZ630 - Chesapeake Bay from Smith Point to Windmill Point VA. The Pocomoke River was incorrectly added as part of ANZ630 and will be added back to fire zones VAZ099-Accomack, MDZ023- Somerset, and MDZ024-Inland Worcester; and public zones VAZ099- Accomack, MDZ023-Somerset, and MDZ024-Inland Worcester. The modified zones are listed in Tables 1 and 2 below. WFO AKQ will continue to issue forecasts and warnings for the modified zones in Tables 1 and 2 via the products in Table 3. Table 1.
