SUBJECT:  Implementation of Terminal Aerodrome Forecast (TAF)
          Service for Big Sandy Regional Airport near
    Prestonsburg, KY, Effective: November 21, 2013

NOTE:     The following changes have no impact on NOAA Weather
          Wire Service subscribers

Effective Friday, November 21, 2013, at 0000 Coordinated
Universal Time (UTC), the NWS office at Jackson, KY, will begin
TAF service for the Big Sandy Regional Airport (SJS) near
Prestonsburg, KY. This site, formerly known as K22, will become
SJS after the TAF is implemented. Once the change is made, SJS
will issue routine and updated TAFS 24 hours a day.

NWS personnel/offices will need to add the following identifier
to their communications systems to receive the new TAF:

In addition, this new TAF will be added to the existing TAF
collectives below, which are transmitted to FAA personnel and
other external users.

FTUS80 KWBC   Non-FAA Domestic and Family of Services
FTUS90 KWBC   FAA Weather Message Switching Center and FAA
              Facilities
FTUS52 KWBC   Global Telecommunication System Customers

Holders of NWS Procedural Instruction 10-813 (Terminal Aerodrome
Forecasts) should make appropriate additions to the appendices.
