-------- Original Message -------- Hi All,The 30-day evaluation for the RTMA v2.2.0 will restart tomorrow, Nov. 26, 2013, effective with the 12Z cycle. All data will be available as stated in the initial evaluation request letter sent out on Nov. 4. The difference between this restart and the initial evaluation is that this restart will have the RAPv1 feeding the RTMA v2.2.0, as opposed to having the RAPv2 feeding the RTMA. This change is needed due to ongoing issues with the RAPv2 boundaries (terrain gradients have caused several RAPv2 job failures).
The evaluation period will extend until Jan. 10 to allow for people being away from the office over the holidays. Evaluation slides should be sent to me by COB January 16, 2014. A briefing to the NCEP Director has been tentatively scheduled for Jan. 23.
